AUSTIN, Texas - Police have arrested a man suspected of dealing drugs containing fentanyl that led to a spike in overdoses in Austin. According to an arrest affidavit, on Monday, April 29 at approximately 9:02 a.m., APD officers and ATCEMS medics responded to a call reporting a possible overdose near East Seventh and Neches Streets in downtown Austin.

Detectives are investigating after one man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport early Friday. Shortly after midnight, Travis County sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a disturbance involving a gun at a business in the 5600 block of South U.S. 183, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.
