2 men charged after shooting at Paducah mall
PADUCAH – Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with a shooting that occurred at Paducah’s Kentucky Oaks Mall last week. According to the Paducah Police Department, Dontrel Muhammad, 28, of Paducah, and Anthony Williams, 39, of Cairo, Illinois, began arguing in the food court area of the mall last Wednesday. Williams and his wife left the mall, got into their vehicle and drove around the parking lot before returning and parking in the roadway in front of the mall entrance.
Authorities release name of man killed in I-57 crash
FRANKLIN COUNTY — Authorities have released the identity of a man killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning on Interstate 57 in Franklin County. According to reports, 55-year-old John Hogan of Tunnel Hill and formerly of Salem and Alma died from injuries he sustained in the crash that happened around 10 a.m. just north of Benton Wednesday.

Smithland pair arrested for burglary
Two people were arrested on burglary charges in Smithland on Tuesday. The Livingston County Sheriff's Office said deputies were called by a property owner of a building on US 60. The owner said when he arrived he found a vehicle parked behind the building he did not recognize. The owner also said he found multiple doors unsecured on the property.
