Basketball Game Recap: Connersville Spartans vs. Franklin County Wildcats
The Connersville Spartans were not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 57-36 walloping at the hands of Franklin County. Bulldogs take down Shelbyville
The Batesville High School boys varsity basketball team posted a 70-45 win at Shelbyville to close out the regular season. Sam Johnson tallied 21 points and Cade Kaiser scored 16 to lead the BHS offense. Jack Grunkemeyer and Gus Prickel shared team-high honors with four assists apiece. Johnson completed a double-double with 10 rebounds. The Bulldogs finished the regular season with a record of 17-5.
