After reading cleveland.com’s story on the Brown’s plans for building a new stadium, to me Cleveland’s math does not add up (”How does the Browns’ proposal compare with projects worldwide?” May 2). Let’s assume we build a $2.4 billion stadium at its current location, because a new stadium with a dome is the only thing that makes sense to me. Now couple that with a $1 billion sports district, with new downtown retail, that does not require direct public funding.
