T’yanna Wallace, daughter of the legendary Brooklyn rapper The Notorious B.I.G., is honoring her father’s legacy with the opening of The Biggie Experience Museum.

This new venture comes seven years after she launched Notoriouss Clothing, her successful clothing store in Brooklyn.

The Notorious B.I.G., born Christopher Wallace, is celebrated as one of hip-hop’s greatest lyricists.

His daughter, T’yanna, who he famously rapped about on his debut single “Juicy,” has grown up to become an entrepreneur with a deep respect for her father’s impact on music and culture.

In an interview with Forbes, T’yanna Wallace shared the inspiration behind the museum. She recounted how fans visiting her clothing store on Atlantic Ave, near the Barclay Center, were always drawn to her father’s memorabilia, including his jerseys and awards.

This sparked the idea for The Biggie Experience Museum.

“This is what prompted me to start the museum, realizing that his fans really want to see his things and be in touch with the background of everything,” Wallace explained. “I started to see this clearly during those five years of having my store.”

T’yanna emphasized her commitment to preserving her father’s legacy, ensuring that The Notorious B.I.G.’s influence remains strong within the hip-hop community and beyond.

“I understand my dad’s legacy and how big he is in the culture and community. I’ve always been the person who wants to continue that. I never wanted his legacy to fade because I know how things can happen,” she said. “There have been super big celebrities whose shine has faded just because they’re not here anymore. I never wanted that to happen to my dad, even though I know he can hold his own. I’ve seen that already. But I always wanted to be the person who says, ‘OK, my dad’s not here anymore, but I know how special he is.’”

The Biggie Experience Museum, located at 503 Atlantic Ave in Brooklyn, aims to be a place where fans can connect with The Notorious B.I.G.’s life and work.

T’yanna plans to hold a special event in July to celebrate the anniversary of one of his iconic albums.

For fans of The Notorious B.I.G. and hip-hop enthusiasts, The Biggie Experience Museum offers a unique opportunity to delve into the life and legacy of one of the genre’s most influential figures.
