Mike Hart and Greg Paulus to be inducted into NYSPHSAA Hall of Fame
LATHAM, N.Y. (WSYR) — On July 31st, Mike Hart and Greg Paulus will be inducted into the NYSPHSAA Hall of Fame along with four others. Mike Hart led Onondaga Central High School to three State Championships and broke numerous records in his career, such as most yards in a season (3,489), most yards in a career (11,045), most 100-yard rushing games (47), most touchdowns in a season (67) and most touchdowns in a career (204) between 2000-03. Hart won New York State Player of the Year three times, before heading to the University of Michigan where he rushed for 41 touchdowns and set a school record for rushing yards (5,040).

The Stony Brook men’s lacrosse team fell to Hofstra, 11-9, on April 27 at LaValle Stadium. Nick Dupuis led the Seawolf offensive attack with a team-high five points. The Seawolf defense held strong early, forcing two consecutive shot clock violations in the opening five minutes. Two minutes later, Hofstra broke through with two goals in 30 seconds to take a 2-0 lead with 8:58 remaining in the first. Both teams traded two goals apiece to end the opening quarter as the Pride took a 4-2 lead into the second.
