Local race horse wins Speedhorse Futurity
Local race horse Ima Fancy Eye, owned by Shania and Terry Dale Cox and trained by Rhonda Valvidia, won last Saturday’s Speedhorse Futurity, which took place at Tulsa’s Fair Meadows Race Track. The winning jockey was Jesus Salazar. The win was the local racehorse’s fifth straight and sixth victory this year. Ima Fancy Eye recorded a 91 speed index in winning the event.

After being voted to finish 12th by members of the media, Kevin Wilson seemed optimistic about his second season as the head coach of the Golden Hurricane.
