Rotary Gardens to host Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony
JANESVILLE — Rotary Botanical Gardens will be the site of the 2024 Rock County Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony on Wednesday. It will take place at the Gardens, 1455 Palmer Dr., Janesville, at 6 p.m. According to a release from the Janesville Police Department, the purpose of the ceremony is to recognize the sacrifice and service of law enforcement officers within Rock County. The ceremony takes place during National Police Week, which is May 12-18. The week is meant to memorialize law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. Those to be honored at the service include Beloit police officers Peter Larsen, Fred Samp and Daniel Daly, Milton Lt. John Conger and Rock County Sheriff’s Deputy Bradley Kaderly. The ceremony is open to the public.
