Truck flies through air and lands on top of parked cars in Massachusetts crash

A truck crashed into a building, flew through the air and landed on top of cars in Brockton, Massachusetts .

The Ford Ranger struck a building and then launched into the air landing on top of several vehicles on Montello Street around 2.30 am on Friday.

Emergency services responded to the crash and found the pickup truck on top of a pile of wrecked vehicles.

The driver of the pickup truck was reportedly driving south on Montello Street when they lost control of the vehicle before colliding with a fire hydrant and the front porch of a residence. The truck then struck the corner of the building and then hit three parked cars , launching into the air and landing on top of them.

In a statement on X, the Brockton Fire Department said that there was "minor damage to the building". However, three vehicles, including a van and two cars , were totaled.

The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene before emergency services arrived.

Brockton Police are investigating the crash and are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

Spokesperson Darren Duarte, of Brockton Police Department, said: "We need people to slow down. Just slow down and stop treating the road like it's the Indy 500."
