Thanks to counselor Patti Knott and Heritage High for putting on a whale of a Career Day on Wednesday. Several of the dozens of presenters were graduates of Heritage, happy to return to Broadlands and share their expertise.

It was neat how students like Olivia Wallace, Cohen Sands, Gwen Happ, Destanee Morgan and Riley Miller got a kick out of seeing themselves in our print editions. Much thanks goes to Heritage’s High School Confidential correspondent Lilli Montgomery, who writes weekly about the Hawks.

Also, in the library, there’s a wall covered with newspaper clippings about students and staff, assembled by librarian/aide Theresa Hooker. Very cool.
