Middlebury women’s lacrosse cruises in NCAA second round
MIDDLEBURY, Vt. (WCAX) - After a double-digit lead through the first quarter of play, the Middlebury women’s lacrosse team defeated St. John Fisher 18-5 in the second round of the NCAA tournament on Sunday. Middlebury was outscored 2-0 in the third period, but dominated the other three frames. Hope Shue led the way with six goals for the Panthers, and eight other players contributed the remaining 11 goals.
