Mt. Washington Auto Road opens daily for 163rd season
GORHAM, N.H. — The Mt. Washington Auto Road opened for daily operations on Saturday, two weeks ahead of schedule. It is the 163rd season for the auto road, which first opened in 1861. Saturday's opening for daily operations is two weeks early, as clearing by the road crew and less extreme weather conditions over the winter allowed for daily operations to start, the auto road said.
Concord woman charged with unauthorized debit card use
CONCORD — A local woman was cited for false pretenses after allegedly using another person’s debit card information without consent, Vermont State Police reported Tuesday. Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were contacted by Cheri Kinney, 42, of Concord, on Jan. 16 at 9:05 a.m., who claimed her debit card information had been used by Jazmyn Cummings, 28, also from Concord.
