Community theater hitting a high note in Bremerton

What a rush! Also, a genuine tear jerker. The Bremerton Community Theatre's ongoing presentation of the musical "Titanic" is visceral.

It is hard to keep a dry eye in this performance. The first half is an accurate depiction of the "lost" days of the initial maiden voyage of this fabled vessel. The second half brings the reality of the tragedy home to 2024. Narrative gives a generally accepted version of the last part of this famous sinking. The director and her crew did a spectacular job with this production.

We've attended shows at BCT since 2005, but this is one of the best. A viewer could pay a lot more and see a lot less.
