    Multiple crews respond to Brazil fire

    BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Firefighters from multiple agencies responded to a structure fire Tuesday morning in Clay County.

    According to Posey Township Volunteer Fire Department Assistant Chief Robert Hogan, the fire occurred Tuesday morning at a home that was currently being remodeled on County Road 235 West. The fire is located north of U.S. 40 on the west side of Brazil.

    Hogan said there were no injuries involved. Hogan added the cause of the fire is under investigation. He said they are trying to get in contact with the property owners at this time.

    A passerby called 911 to notify officials of the fire.
