PEARL, Miss. (WLBT) - In 1967, the Brandon Bulldogs won a State Championship dressed in white jerseys and red caps, and on Thursday night, history repeated itself. After 57 years, the Bulldogs were able to claim the State Championship title yet again, and pitching was the key to their success. Junior pitcher, Jackson Clark, pitched a complete game with 6 strikeouts. The defense also did their part by keeping Hernando off the board.
