Two Raleigh County men charged after a man fatally overdosed

MOUNT HOPE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two Raleigh County men are facing felony charges in Fayette County. Sheriff Mike Fridley provides the following information regarding this incident.

On December 26, 2023, deputies responded to a suspected overdose death in Mount Hope. During the lengthy investigation, detectives with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department Detective’s Bureau were able to gather a timeline of events leading up to the victim’s death and were able to determine that the victim had purchased narcotics from identified individuals, and as a result, died from an overdose.

Bryan K. Griffith, 47 of Bradley, and William K. Foley, 28 of Bradley, are both charged with the felony offenses of Drug Delivery Resulting in Death, and Conspiracy. Both men were arraigned today in Raleigh County and remanded to Southern Regional Jail to await court proceedings.
