Two Raleigh County men face felony drug charges

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — Two men from Raleigh County are facing felony charges in Fayette County.

According to Sheriff Mike Fridley of the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a suspected overdose that occurred on December 26, 2023 in the Mount Hope area of Fayette County. During the investigation, detectives with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the person died from an overdose.

Deputies also discovered the people who sold the deceased the drugs that led to their death.

47-year-old Bryan K. Griffith and 28-year-old William K. Foley, both of Bradley, were each charged with the felony offenses of Drug Delivery Resulting in Death and Conspiracy.

Griffith and Foley were brought in for questioning in Raleigh County and then sent to Southern Regional Jail to await their court sentencings.
