Friday could be hottest day of year for Las Vegas valley; triple digits possible
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Temperatures are inching higher than normal this week and Friday is expected to be a scorcher, possibly reaching 100 degrees for the first time this year. Following a cooler-than-usual spring season and a quick warm-up over the past several days, the National Weather Service in Las Vegas said this is the “first taste of summer” and it’s warning people to plan ahead, especially those who are sensitive to heat, plan to be outdoors for a prolonged period, or are not from the desert.

Report explains damage left to Henderson townhome in days-long barricade
LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A report from the North Las Vegas Police Department explains some of the damage left to a Henderson townhome involved in a days-long barricade. The townhome, off of Callen Falls Avenue near Galleria and Cadence Vista, had its garage door and face of the backside of the building ripped off.
Clark County, Bullhead City Fire respond to room fire reported in Colorado Belle
