Chariton County murder suspect accepts plea deal
CHARITON COUNTY — A Chariton County murder suspect gets a plea deal to serve only 20 years in prison. According to online court records, James Johnson of Keytesville entered a guilty plea Friday to first-degree assault and possession of a controlled substance in an amended information filed by the Prosecution.
