MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Sterlington’s pitching duo shined in the quarterfinals, leading Sterlington back to the semifinals in Sulphur. Sterling Sims improved to 11-0 on the season, giving up three runs on six hits and four walks with six strikeouts in 5.1 innings pitched. In game two, Dylan Downs gave up just two hits and one walk while tossing just 80 total pitches in a complete game effort.
