BONIFAY, Fla. ( WMBB ) – On every first Friday of the month, Pepper Town Market in Bonifay hosts a community event featuring food trucks and raising money for area non-profit organizations.

From 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 3rd, residents can head to the market and enjoy food and drinks from the “Crazy Kofe Lady” and “Thai Taste Express Fusion” while enjoying some live music.

The proceeds made will be donated to the Holmes Council on Aging which is this month’s non-profit being supported.

The monthly tradition began two years ago and has become a great place for residents to connect while supporting various organizations.

“‘Food Truck Friday’ is important to me because every time we have tables and chairs out here, people will literally sit with people that they don’t know and get to know, or have known each other but haven’t talked to each other in forever,” said Pepper Town Market Owner Emily Locke. “They just get together in fellowship, listen to live music, and give back to Holmes County.”

The “Food Truck Fridays” at the Pepper Town Market are free to attend for all interested.
