Lexington Fire Department donates old gear to central Kentucky fire departments
LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Lexington Fire Department is finding some new life for its old gear, by gifting it to firefighters in surrounding counties. “So, when we got our new SCBAs (self-contained breathing apparatuses) last year, we knew we were going to have a surplus,” said Battalion Chief Derek Roberts with the Lexington Fire Department.
