Pinson Mounds hosted Junior Ranger Camp at Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park June 6 through June 8. Park Ranger Deidra Ekberg lead the event. Mid Week Showers & Storms to Continue in West Tennessee
A cluster or weak storms and brief heavy rain showers are moving into West Tennessee around 9pm and tracking to the northeast. They will move through Jackson between 9:30-10:30pm. Isolated lightning strikes will be possible but these storms overall appear quite weak. We are still under a marginal (1/5) risk for severe storms tonight so we cannot rule out this storm strengthening, but chances for a severe storm, appear not be likely.
