Berry Summit Vista Point reopens with new improvements
EUREKA, Calif. — Upgrades to the Berry Summit Vista Point on Highway Route 299, between Blue Lake and Willow Creek, are now available to the community. Caltrans partnered with several Humboldt County tribes to make this project happen. This includes improvements to welcoming amenities for visitors with a newly added restroom, solar-powered electric vehicle charging stations, added trash cans in picnic areas, along with viewing benches to enjoy the scenery.

Redwood Art Association announces a call for artists for the 2024 Beyond the Page judged exhibition with cash awards, showcasing works of fine sculpture and fiber art from emerging and established artists living and working in Humboldt County. Open to all artists 18 years and older. First time exhibitors with RAA must become members for subsequent exhibitions. Works must have been completed within the last 5 years.
