Bear and her cubs make beeline for bacon in Bloomfield, Conn.

BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A mama bear and her two cubs visited the backyard of a home in Bloomfield recently.

Resident Darlene Yule said she thinks the bears were intrigued by the smell of bacon she was cooking and walked up to take a whiff before continuing on their way.

The mother bear had an ear tag, meaning she was likely studied.
