Third health insurance contract dispute involving Jefferson Health emerges

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- A third contract dispute involving the Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health and a major health insurance company has been made public. According to Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, it was notified by the health network that its hospitals, facilities and doctor groups will leave Horizon's networks on March 1, 2027, unless Horizon will, it claims, agree to pay "substantially higher prices for care."
