Earthquake Rattles Western North Carolina
According to USGS, a weak earthquake rattled western North Carolina this morning. At 7:57 am, an earthquake with a depth of 3.6 km struck near Weaverville, North Carolina, located half way between Knoxville, Tennessee and Charlotte, North Carolina. The earthquake was rated as a magnitude 2.0 event. There were no reports of any damage or injuries.
