BVSD plant sale starts May 10
The Boulder Valley School District’s annual plant sale starts May 10. The sale is open from 4 to 6 p.m. May 10, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11, 4 to 6 p.m. May 17, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 18. The sale also will open early for Boulder Valley staff members, who get a 25% staff discount, from noon to 4 p.m. May 10.
Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport’s noise roundtable grounded over lack of progress, trust
A group trying to address residents’ concerns over noise at Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport voted Thursday to stop convening. Five of the eight cities and counties serving on the so-called community noise roundtable hit eject citing a lack of progress and trust in the airport's owner, Jefferson County. The roundtable was created in 2021 to identify the scope of noise issues around the airport and come up with mitigation measures.
