Dillard’s Chophouse set to open in The Westin Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Dillard’s Chophouse , a fine dining restaurant in Tuscaloosa featuring steak dishes and a broad selection of wines, is set to open its second location at The Westin Birmingham on Monday.

According to a news release from Crawford Sqaure Real Estate Advisors, the new Dillard’s Chophouse will include a dining room intended to sit up to 120 patrons. The restaurant is planned to be appropriate for small and large groups.

“Joining the dynamic culinary community in Birmingham fills us with excitement,” said Andrew Dillard, owner of Dillard’s Chophouse, in the release. “Expanding into the Uptown Birmingham and BJCC area by establishing a second location was a strategic and positive step for us, allowing us to replicate the distinguished dining experience and superior service that our Tuscaloosa guests have come to appreciate.”

The release stated the new Dillard’s Chophouse will improve the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex and Uptown Entertainment District area. The restaurant is designed to be fitting for pre-show dinners, post-event celebrations and business gatherings.
