Construction makes it tricky navigating Asheville’s airport
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Construction at Asheville Regional Airport is causing some changes, and travelers should plan accordingly. Because of work on a new passenger terminal, the rental car check-in counters are temporarily moving to mobile buildings outside baggage claim. Just follow the signs through the covered construction walkway to the counters.
Grilled pizza with ricotta and tomatoes
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Ingredients:. Remove dough from refrigerator about 2 hours before grilling, bring to room temperature. Divide dough into 6 pieces. Stretch balls of dough as thinly as you can either by pulling it or rolling them out. Place on hot grill. If the dough doesn’t start browning in the first minute, cover with lid and grill 2-3 minutes, then uncover and flip the dough using tongs. Do 2-3 balls of dough at a time. When they have finished grilling/baking, smear the tops with ricotta cheese, chopped tomatoes and parsley. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
