Hobo Railroad getting new name
MANCHESTER, N.H. — The Hobo Railroad will now be known as the Granite State Scenic Railway. The name change follows the railroad being purchased by Patriot Rail. The railway is located in Lincoln, and the trains take Granite Staters on a 15-mile winding trek through the woods and along the Pemigewasset River.

ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (WCAX) - Police arrested a St. Johnsbury man for allegedly chasing down his neighbor and shooting at him with a BB gun. Police say on Monday just before 5:45 p.m. they got a call from a man claiming he was being shot at by a neighbor with what he believed to be a BB gun.
Two arrested in Newbury after assault on officers, attempted escape
NEWBURY — Vermont State Police troopers faced resistance during the arrest of a wanted fugitive and an accomplice at a residence on Swamp Road on April 19. Ryan Sherman, 32, of Newbury, was located by troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks who were executing a no-bail fugitive warrant stemming from a parole violation.
