180-unit affordable housing complex opens in Berea
A ribbon cutting was held May 30 celebrating the completion of The Sullivan, Greenville’s largest affordable housing project in over a decade. The apartment complex, which opened in 2023, includes 180 units spread across five buildings. The housing is reserved for households making under 60% of the area’s median income, approximately $53,000 and below.
Spinx Market on Main Street seeks exception for early, late hours
The city of Greenville Board of Zoning Appeals will review an application submitted by the highly-anticipated Spinx Market & Eatery during its scheduled meeting on June 13. The upcoming market will be located at 659 Main St. in Greenville’s West End. The board will hear its application for a special exception permit which, if approved, would allow the business to operate after midnight.
