JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - Pleasant and clear heading out the door early this morning, but more stormy weather will be possible in the coming hours. Our morning commute should stay nice and dry, but by late morning another system will start to approach the area. This will, again, depend on how much the atmosphere has recovered from last night’s stormy weather, but you should still be prepared for a few strong storms today. There is a low-end, level 1 out of 5, severe threat from 10 AM to 7 PM as those storms move through. Most of the overnight hours should be dry with clear conditions back in place for the start of Thursday.
