Rain lingers Sunday morning, long stretch of sunshine to follow
Saturday night update: The severe weather threat has ended, but the flooding risk is still lingering. Flood Watches remain in effect through Sunday morning across much of the area. Additional moderate to heavy rain is still possible overnight in spots, and the latest 24-hour rainfall totals as of midnight show just how soaked parts of the region got from the remnants of Isaias. Several locations picked up 5 to 7 inches, with the heaviest axis running through the Augusta metro. Low-lying roads and poor-drainage areas remain the main concern after those kinds of totals. Turn around, don’t drown.
