Crews working to clear ‘portables’ at Omaha schools this summer
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - There’s a “bit of mess” outside of Buffett Middle School in northwest Omaha. Crews are removing cottages — which some refer to as “portables” — outside the school, located near 144th and Ames streets. Insulation, paper, and other things could be seen strewn about as work was underway on Friday morning.
