U-Haul transforms old Kenton Kmart for new facility
KENTON — U-Haul is working to transform a building previously used as a Kmart. The building is located at 1005 E. Columbus St., Kenton. According to a press release, the property sits on 11 acres of land and was sold in February. The building will soon be utilized for moving and storage.

Woman lodged for pepper spraying son during argument
A woman was arrested for reportedly pepper spraying her son in the face Mother’s Day evening, deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report. Abba Higgins, 45, of Lakeview, was charged Sunday, May 12, with one count of domestic violence and was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
