Officer involved shooting leaves Tucumcari man deceased, New Mexico State Police say
QUAY COUNTY, N.M.— On Tuesday morning, the New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau was requested to investigate an officer-involved shooting in Quay County. According to an NMSP release, around 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Quay County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple police calls of 77-year-old Aubrey James Osteen of Tucumcari brandishing a firearm at his home health provider and medical personnel.
