Still hot out but getting real hot this weekend

Moderate to unhealthy (level 2/6 - level 3/6) air quality will be in place the next few days as southerly winds continue to drag agricultural fire smoke from Mexico. Highs will be on an upwards climb the next few days until Monday when a weak cool front arrives Monday night. Highs in the Crossroads going into Sunday and Monday will range between the mid 90s to the mid 100s... Western counties in the Crossroads including Goliad, DeWitt, Gonzales, Karnes, and Bee county are at the highest risk for hitting the mid 100s on Sunday and Monday. Heat indices will surpass 100 for just about everyone each day throughout the next week. Time to start getting hydrated and acclimated to the heat before summer arrives!
