TRIGA plans to terminate 50-year lease with BDA
AFFCO Investment DMCC has informed the Bee Development Authority (BDA) that it will cease manufacturing operations in the United States. The decision, announced on May 24 was attributed to the company's inability to sustain business activities at its leased premises as projected. The 50-year lease agreement will be terminated 60 days from the date of notice.
PILGRIMAGE THROUGH GOLIAD
The Diocese of Victoria portion of the St. Juan Diego Pilgrimage Route began on May 27 and 28 at Presidio La Bahia in Goliad. The entire route spans from Brownsville to Indianapolis, Ind. The Diocese of Victoria leg began on May 27 in Goliad and proceeded to Promise Pointe in Victoria County, Our Lady of Sorrows and Our Lady of Victory Catholic churches in Victoria, and St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Hillje, and St. Robert’s and St. Philip’s Catholic churches in El Campo.

After many hurdles, the Live Oak Volunteer Medical Response Team 1 is officially on the job. The team has been working for several months to receive their state license and be officially recognized by the cities of George West and Three Rivers.
