BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) — A Greene County grand jury has indicted a Beavercreek woman on 36 counts ranging from fraud to theft.

The charges against Beverly Kirk include:

    • Securities Fraud
    • Unlicensed Securities Activity
    • Theft
    • Theft from a Person in a Protected Class
    • Securing Writings by Deception

The charges are felonies of the second, third and fourth degree.

The incident has been investigated by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Securities over several months.

Kirk, an insurance agent, allegedly convinced three clients from 2019-24 to invest over $200,000 into various investment streams. These allegedly included “non-existent jumbo CDs and investments allegedly issued by an insurance underwriter.”

The indictment also alleges that Kirk used these funds for her own personal circumstances.

Kirk is currently in police custody, awaiting an arraignment and bond hearing scheduled for Thursday, May 2.
