2 arrested after man shot, killed while taking out trash, records show
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Two men were arrested after a man was shot and killed early Wednesday in the Hollywood area, records show. Keith Coffer, 25, and Jaylin Lewis, 22, were both charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Cameron Newby, who was killed Wednesday, May 15 on the 2500 block of Heard Avenue, records show.

A Tennessee man was sentenced to 80 years in prison Friday for raping a woman a year before he was charged with kidnapping and killing a school teacher who was on an early morning run.Cleotha Abston, whose history of criminal charges dates back to the 1990s when he was a juvenile, received 40 years in prison for aggravated rape, 20 years for aggravated kidnapping and another 20 years for being a felon in possession of a weapon.
