Bartlesville child injured in hit-and-run accident

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — Bartlesville Police said a child was injured in a hit-and-run accident near Madison Boulevard and Tuxedo Boulevard on Sunday afternoon.

Witnesses told police that a white SUV hit a child who was riding a bicycle and left the area.

Police are trying to find the driver of the white SUV and said they have someone they would like to speak with about the accident.

EMS took the child to a Tulsa hospital for treatment, but the child has since returned home.

Police said they are still following up on leads and ask anyone with information about the accident to contact the Bartlesville Police Department.
