ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (WJHL) — Former News Channel 11 anchor Tim Cable oversaw one of the region’s most popular series: Cable Country. In July 1995, Cable observed miniature dragsters racing in Carter County. The small cars could reach speeds up to 53 miles per hour.
