Educators, political leaders address child hunger, free school meals in NC at town hall
CULLOWHEE, N.C. (WLOS) — Many kids get free meals at school in North Carolina. But not all of them. A statewide coalition held a town hall Thursday, May 30, at Western Carolina University to advocate for free meals and to discuss strategies to achieve that goal.
