St. Joseph High School's Class of 2024 includes 26 graduates
St. Joseph High School in Harrison held its 108th graduation Friday evening. A Baccalaureate Mass and graduation ceremonies were held for the 26 graduates in the Walter Dlubak Center. The event was livestreamed.

Penn Hills School District’s 2024 commencement ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. tonight, May 31, at Yuhas-McGinley Stadium. The district has 296 graduates this year. There are 14 valedictorians, representing the top 5% of the graduating class: Makenna Carricato, David Dudas Jr., London Irish, Caleb Lohr, Isabelle Marazas, Caroline McDevitt, Ian Nadzan, Brice Peeler, Hannah Pugliese, Jeremy Safran, Ari Silverman, Avery Slagle, Caidyn Thomas and Kristian White.
Pro-Palestinian protesters set up encampment at University of Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Pro-Palestinian protesters have set up a new encampment at the University of Pittsburgh on Sunday. The protesters established the camp outside the Cathedral of Learning on Pitt's campus in the city's Oakland neighborhood. They set up a fence around the encampment, which features small and large tents. Amid the demonstration on Sunday, one protester was detained by police after trying to bring a case of water into the encampment. Police told protesters that they could not bring anything inside.
