Kern County Sheriff’s Office offers up popcorn, Star Wars movie night on May 4

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Kern County Sheriff’s Office is preparing to host movie night at Polo Community Park, in partnership with Starlight Movie Project.

On May 4, Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi will be playing for Movie in the Park night at Polo Community Park. Concessions open up at 7 p.m., and deputies say to bring your own chairs and blankets to watch the movie, which starts at 8 p.m. The park is located at 11801 Noriega Road and the event is free.
