Santa Rosa County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 53-year-old Milton man Sunday after he allegedly beat and hogtied his girlfriend and kept her in the garage. Deputies arrested Jeffrey Holley for kidnapping, battery, domestic violence battery, larceny, obstruction of justice, resisting an officer and burglary. A neighbor called law enforcement to conduct a welfare check for Holley's girlfriend after they reportedly saw him retrieving zip ties from his truck, Sheriff Bob Johnson said during a press conference about the arrest Monday.

Deputies: Man used hatchet to burglarize Okaloosa County convenience stores
OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. -- A Baker man was arrested after deputies identified him as a suspect in a string of convenience store burglaries that occurred on Wednesday. Okaloosa County deputies say 34-year-old Klynn Jones was seen on video burglarizing a convenience store on N. Eglin Parkway and another store in Shalimar.
