Caltrans to close State Route 99 lane
The southbound No. 2 lane of State Route 99 from Avenue 24 1/2 to Avenue 24 will be closed on Sunday. The one mile closure south of Chowchilla will take place from 4 a.m.-noon. The closure is needed as crews will be doing pump house maintenance work on that stretch of highway.
