Sharon native, Letterman founder Tony Butala, passes away at 87
SHARON - A Sharon native whose voice brought joy and memories to millions of people all over the world for decades had passed away. Tony Butala, an original member of the famed singing group “The Lettermen,” died just days before his 88th birthday, according to a message posted Sunday on the group’s official Facebook page.
