High school softball: UIL playoff and championship schedule, locations

The high school softball postseason is is here, so there are some important times and locations to remember as the season winds down.

The University Interscholastic League postseason begins with the district certification deadline on Apr. 23 and then bi-district matchups later that week followed by the area round the first week of May. From there, teams compete in the regional quarterfinal and then the regional semifinal the following weeks. The regional final starts in the second to last week of May, then finally the state tournament from May 28-Jun 1.

The state tournament will be held at Red & Charline McCombs Field in Austin.

Here are all the upcoming dates and locations you need to know for the UIL softball postseason.

Apr. 25-27: Bi-district games

May 2-4: Area games 6A-2A, Regional Quarterfinal games 1A

May 9-11: Regional Quarterfinal games 6A-2A, Regional Semi-Final games 1A

May 16-18: Regional Semi-Final games 6A-2A, Regional Final games 1A

May 23-25: Regional Final games 6A-2A

May 28-Jun. 1: State Tournament all classes
